FAQ

FAQ

I have code P20B9. Will your repair kit resolve this code?
No. Our kit will not resolve problems with the diagnostic trouble code P20B9. This code refers to the heated urea supply line, also known as heater “A”. The entire line between the pump and the dosing module will have to be replaced in order for this code to clear.

Do you supply the heated supply line that would address heater “A” failures?
Not at this time, but we may have something in the future.

When pulling down the DEF tank, I accidentally broke the DEF pump nipple. Do you have a fix?
Yes! This has become such a common occurrence that we’ve designed and manufacture a DEF pump nipple replacement. It can be found here.

I heard wire soldering is required for your repair kit. Is that true?
Not anymore. The first generation of these DEF tank repair kits did require wire soldering, but in our constant efforts to improve we now supply the repair kits as complete assemblies that fit snugly in your OEM DEF tank heating pot. No wire soldering is required. The most difficult part of the job will be taking down the tank.

Do you have instructions on how to take down the tank?
We’re working on it, but due to the many variations in the DEF tanks we supply parts for, we haven’t yet put together removal instructions for the DEF tank. If you’re having trouble, we recommend getting your vehicle to a specialist so they can help.

Do you have a repair kit for the passive tank as well?
No. Passive tank level sensor failures aren’t nearly as common, and they’re not as simple to replace. We do though have a repair service for the passive tank. Details vary, so please contact us for more information.

Do you have replacement DEF pumps?
Yes we do. They can be found here.
