Important: Problems with the DEF/SCR (BlueTec) Tank and DEF Heater can be caused by a variety of things, so please read the following information carefully before placing your order!
Our DEF Tank Heater Kit resolves a variety of issues related to the following Freightliner DTC codes. We frequently see codes related to Level Sensor failure, such as P203D describing “Reducing Agent Active Tank Fill Level Sensor Signal” and indicating that there is a defect in the level sensor inside the tank. Temperature Sensor failure codes are also common, such as P205D describing “Reductant Tank Temperature Sensor Circuit High” and indicating defects in the temperature sensor inside the tank. Heating Element failure codes are another common problem, such as P20BD describing “Heater B Open Circuit” and indicating that there is a defect in the heating element inside the tank.
