It is a very common occurrence that after a minor collision the power steering rack will set a DTC B2000 00 – “Control module faulty” This is a permanent code and any attempts to clear this code will fail as a result the entire power steering rack would have to be replaced.
We have a solution for this issue and our power steering module repair service will resolve this problem permanently. You will have to separate the module from the power steering rack and send it in for repairs. Do not send the entire rack to us, please.
Also, check the part number on the part number on your module and make sure it matches one of the following part numbers:
8K0-909-144-E | 8K0-909-144-F | 8K0-909-144-G | 8K0-909-144-J | 8K0-909-144-P | 8K0-909-144-R
If you have a different part number, then the module cannot be repaired. See image for part number location.

This is a Repair Service of your existing module. You will need to remove and send your module to us for repair using the shipping labels provided to you.
The order will be processed during our regular business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30 – 5:00 EST). After processing your order, we will email shipping labels and shipping instructions. If you do not see shipping labels within 1 hour of submitting your order (during business hours) please first check your junk/spam folders. Quick Turnaround: Your module will be tested, repaired, re-tested, and sent back to you in the same day (unless otherwise noted).
Completely Reworked PCB: All internal circuit boards are tested at the component level. Any known prone-to-failure parts that are close to the maximum tolerance are automatically replaced.
Quality Tested: All power steering modules undergo rigorous tests on our specialized custom-built CAN-bus driven testbed. All hardware and software functions are checked and verified for proper operation.

Step 1: Purchase our service online or over the phone.
Step 2: After processing your order, we will email you pre-paid shipping labels.
Step 3: Send us your old defective unit by dropping off the package to any UPS location or call UPS to schedule a pick- up.
Step 4: We will inspect and repair your old module.
Step 5: We will send you back the repaired module the same day (unless otherwise stated).
Step 6: You install the unit back into your vehicle.
